For the 'Zen Headline' they discuss the new trip planned by Blue Horizon.  This private rocket company projects that in 18 months, they will be bring tourists to space.

Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry dive into the animal kingdom, and also into a German court. The court has ordered a donkey's owner nearly $7,000 to the owner of a McLaran sports car. to cover the damage done when the donkey chomped at the backside of the car. 

 

 

For the 'Zen Headline' former CEO of Equifax Richard Smith was at a hearing for the company, when a mysterious character appeared in the background. A woman dressed as the monopoly man, was right behind Smith, and ultimately stole the show.

In today's 'Zen Headline' Alex Kirry and Ethan Millard explore a situation in Seattle. Sara Jacobsen realized that her family, all her life had been eating dinner beneath a sacred Native American Robe. The family then returned the Chilkat robe to the Burke Museum.

A 16 year old junior at Hollywood Hills high school in Florida, Holly Neher made history on Friday throwing a 42 yard touchdown pass. Neher is the first female quarterback at the school, and possibly the state of Florida.

Officials in Manatee County are under fire after an interpreter for the deaf warned about pizza and monsters during an emergency briefing related to Hurricane Irma earlier this month. The interpreter, Marshall Greene, a lifeguard for the county, has a brother who is deaf. Plus, a #zenheadlines from Colorado where a former neo-nazi is getting his swastika tattoos removed after his black parole officer became one of his closest friends.

Nightside Project host Ethan Millard interviews punk rock legend Mike Peters of The Alarm.  Originally from Wales, Mike toured the world with The Alarm and other major acts like U2 and Bob Dylan. After seeing Sex Pistols in concert, Mike started his own band, The Toilets. Mike was diagnosed with cancer and continues to live with it and fight against it. His Love Hope Strength organization matches blood and bone marrow donors to patients in desperate need. A new documentary film, Man In The Camo Jacket, beautifully illustrates his story.
