Despite correctly predicting the results of Japan’s first three World Cup group matches in Russia, Rabio the “psychic” octopus was unlikely to have foreseen an event of far greater consequence: its own death.

One Twitter user speculated that Rabio’s “murder” had condemned Japan to their heartbreaking last-gasp defeat against Belgium on Monday, denying them a place in the quarter-finals.

Speaking about his time as a “white supremacist leader,” skinhead-turned-peace activist Christian Picciolini explained how his group “sought marginalized youth and promised them ‘paradise.’”  Plus, Ethan finds out during the show that the 12 Thai Youth Soccer players have been found alive in the caves where they went missing with their coach.

Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry talk about Mason woman and mother of two who is now apologizing after she was found guilty of stealing packages off several porches.

Melissa Bergman, 30, was caught on camera taking packages off a porches around her neighborhood in an act she she described as being just for fun.  She would rarely keep the items and mostly liked to steal the packages for the thrill and would often times have her children in the car with her while she made her rounds.

Police say orange-colored ecstasy pills bearing an image resembling President Donald Trump's face are making the rounds in northern Indiana.   

Indiana State Police said in a statement that a face is stamped on the front of the illegal pills and the rear bears the words, "great again". Plus, a Lounge in Minnesota where patrons can gather to drink and throw sharp axes finally got its own liquor license.  Thank heavens! The popularity of these lounges across the country is baffling but apparently a ton of fun for buzzed axe throwers.

Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry talk about the crazy ways people try to haul loads on the roads after a mountain of student desks and assorted school furniture caught the attention of police this week as it made its way down a freeway.

The Massachusetts State Police said the tangle of chairs, desks and a filing cabinet was found on the back of a pickup truck on I-91 in Springfield.

The driver was ticketed for, well, the obvious. The unsecured and uncovered load posed a real danger to other people

Diego Maradona, Argentina's permanently drunk or high soccer mascot finally broke his silence as to his erratic and inappropriate behavior in the stands during the Fifa World Cup, he wasn't drunk or high, according to him.  Plus, justice served on a pervert in Wisconsin.   The 32-year-old had installed the device to take illicit photographs of women under their skirts.

Local police say he handed himself in but was not charged because he had not taken any images or video before the camera battery exploded and hurt him.

Argentina soccer legend Diego Maradona was reportedly hospitalized after La Albiceleste scored late to beat Nigeria 2-1 on Tuesday and advance to the 2018 FIFA World Cup knockout stages. 

Maradona had been present for all three of Argentina's group games and was once again an animated figure at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow but had to be attended to by paramedics, plus a #zenheadlines story of the Japanese Yakuza who have fallen on tough times and have resorted to stealing watermelons to make quick cash.

Alex Kirry and Ethan Millard talk about a bold land grab that China is attempting.  Arid Northwest China is considering building a 1,000km pipeline to pump fresh water from Lake Baikal in Russia’s Siberia, reports Beijing-based Global Times. Baikal is the largest freshwater lake in the world by volume.  Russian officials are not happy that China is trying to reclaim the lake as theirs claiming that it used to be theirs.  

A 2015 report said the shores of Baikal are covered with rotting algae dangerous to its unique ecosystem.

Lake Baikal is increasingly contaminated by Spirogyra, which could pose a threat to the purity of its waters.

Spirogyra is not native to Baikal's ecosystem. It thrives on biological waste which, according to ecologists, comes from sewage facilities from several local holiday centers, as well as private boats.

A mixed-race family of eight are asking Blue Bell Ice Cream to change the name of a popular chocolate and vanilla ice cream flavor, The Great Divide, to be more inclusive.

Traci Schmidley, her husband, and their brood of six children were sitting down for an ice cream party at their Louisiana home to celebrate the end of the week when their children pointed out what they called an obvious racially charged flavor of ice cream.

Salt Lake City firefighters say due to dry weather and the threat of wildfires, fireworks restrictions are more strict than usual for 2018.  There are no fireworks allowed East of 900 East, west of Redwood Road and north of South Temple. Fireworks are likewise prohibited at all times at all city parks and city properties.

The fire department says those who violate the restrictions may face a fine of up to $1,000.  Alex Kirry and Ethan Millard lament the fact that Alex will have to go down to 9th East to set off his aerial fireworks with his kids.  Sheesh.  Plus, a #zenheadlines story that is kind of a big DILL as a Pickle Festival is getting all sorts of attention in Boston.

A man in Finland started his house on fire as he tried to drive a snake from his garden.  He sprayed it with gasoline which was ignited by a nearby hot lawnmower.

The fire department saved his home, but it was a close one.

The Zen Headline comes from the Ace Hardware in Sugar Grove Illinois.  Mark Driscoll, owner, says a man tried on a pair of work gloves and accidentally left his wedding ring jammed into one of the fingers.

Scott played in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions.  He still holds all the quarterback records at the University of Utah.  

They talk about Fathers Day and whether joke gifts are really appropriate.  

They also talk about the 86 year old mayor of Ruso North Dakota
Bruce Lorenz.  He was just re- elected with 100% of the votes in a turnout of 100%.  There are 3 registered voters.  Good win.

Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry, In a bid to understand both sides of the debate on use of electric shock collars on dogs, talk about Ethan's decision to use the collars on his terrible barking dogs who wake up neighbors and ruin sleep around the neighborhood with their uncontrollable barking.  Ethan seems to be fine with it but what does the American Veterinary Association say about them?  Ethan doesn't really care, Judy and Jack and are going to get the shocks.
