Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry talk about the great state of Oklahoma! Who are now one step closer to requiring children to be buckled up in the back of cars. Nice. Right now, children between the ages of 8 and 13 are allowed to ride in the back seat of cars in Oklahoma without buckling up. HB3026 would outlaw that possibility and require parents to secure children under the age of 14 with seat belts.  Plus, a #zenheadlines starring Punxsutawney Phil of Groundhog fame out of Pennsylvania.

In this episode we watch a segment of KSL TV's Studio 5 with Brooke Walker.  She and Becky Lowe make grilled mac and cheese sandwiches.  That is exactly what it sounds like.  Leftover mac and cheese between two slices of bread then pan fried.

Alex prefers sharp cheddar on his grilled cheese sandwiches.  Ethan prefers American cheese.  Both work pretty well.

Becky also makes a pretty good tomato basil soup.  But that's really unnecessary.

Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry talk about a more somber issue...It’s been exactly one month since the deadly shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School — and some are choosing a somber way to pay tribute to the 17 people killed in the Parkland massacre.

Thousands of students and teachers began walking out of their classrooms on Wednesday, March 14 as part of the the #Enough! Chris Gash and Jenn Sudol, who first met when they were freshmen at Clifton High School in 1989, were married Saturday at their old high school. The ceremony was small with just family members, and officiated by Clifton Mayor James Anzaldi — who says he came out of retirement for this ceremony after retiring from wedding officiating a few years ago.

Today we learn about a new sport: Footgolf

It's a lot like golf but played with a soccer ball.

It looks pretty fun and there is even a professional league, the American Footgolf league (AFGL).  There are courses across the United States including Disney World.

Footgolf has an interesting history.  Some say it began in the 20's and 30's with a game called codeball.  Modern Footgolf started in northern Europe.  The first tournament was held in the Netherlands in 2008 and the American league kicked off in 2014.

There's even an international governing body called Federation For International Footgolf (FIFG).

The 2018 Footgolf World Cup will be held in Marrakesh.

Pears in your brownies? Would you go for that?  Sarah Warner shared this recipe with Brooke Walker on KSL TV's Studio 5.  That's the recipe we review in this episode.

Sarah is the culinary mind behind sarahmakesit.com and she always has a lot of creative recipes.  She is also known for the crazy dancing she does on Instagram.

But we were not prepared for putting pear halves into a brownie mix.  We did enjoy the brief debate over using a boxed brownie mix or a scratch recipe.

A quick google search reveals that pears in brownies is something that really happens and is not an elaborate prank on us.  Sarah gives it a twist with a shortbread crust.

Fruit and chocolate does go well together so this recipe should surprise no one.  Some of the variations include nuts.

A new resolution proposed would eliminate daylight saving time, and instead push Utah into a new time zone year-round.

Bill Thurston, R-Provo, would direct the Utah Department of Transportation to submit an application to the U.S. Department of Transportation to change Utah’s designated time from mountain standard time to Central Standard Time.  Ethan Millard and Alex Kirry think its crazy to share a time zone with Tennessee.

The chain has no plans to expand there permanently.
