Carolina Williams of Ravenwood High School in Brentwood Tennessee was accepted to Yale University partly on the strength of her short essay.  She was assigned to write about something she loved to do.  She wrote about ordering pizza from Papa Johns.

Yale loved it, totally accepted her application, but she turned them down.  She's going to Auburn University instead.

Carolina is the first in her family to attend University.

We also dip in to the Scripps National Spelling Bee to hear how well the children can spell "covfefe".

Our Zen Headlines segment this episode is courtesy of Jake Packer who submitted a great headline on Twitter using #zenheadlines.
